Own Boat Tuition
From £195 per day + fuel and any additional expenses
This gives you the opportunity to learn at your own pace on a one to one basis or with family and friends.
You might like a day’s further instruction on your own boat having completed the Powerboat Level 2 or the ICC.
Incorporating your own boat into part of an RYA course is another way of learning while familiarising yourself with your own boat.
We spend time giving advice on safety equipment that you should really carry on board, electronic equipment such as GPS and VHF and also impartial advice on any other items that you may consider buying.
Own boat tuition is a great way of familiarising yourself with the strength and weaknesses of your vessel.
We recommend a minimum of 1 day though we are happy to do as many days as you would like. You may also require that the day is tailored to your requirements, using your own boat you are in charge and can dictate what your would like to cover.
Own boat tuition can take place at any location to suit the owner.
Should you wish to use your own boat as part of an RYA specific course your vessel must comply to RYA standards which in itself will ensure that your safety equipment is of a good standard.
